I just spent a good 30 minutes sweating bullets upon discovering the new 10.6 compatible driver for my Epson R2880 printer was seriously crippled. Turns out that my installation of Snow Leopard had not included Rosetta, even though I had specified it through the custom install options. After reading a forum thread mentioning the problem I decided to take a chance and re-install Rosetta from the SL disk (Optional Installs): boom! full printer options reappeared!
This doesn’t fix the problem with Aperture printing though….
Hi I had some problems with my 2880 too but I downloaded driver from Epson Australia and it works great. I don’t know why usa one doesn’t work.
I’m having problems with my Epsom Stylus DX4800 Printer soon after installing Snow Leopard, altho it worked OK for a while. Any jobs I send to the printer go into a print queue. With an error message “RASTERTOES CPLL” failed. any ideas ?
I have deleted / Reinstalled the printer, with the driver down loaded from Epsom website but to no avail
Phil:
Did you install the latest Epson drivers from OS X’s Software Update? It came out this morning…
